For something a little more simple and easy on the stomach, you can give the pad woon sen a try.
It had a little bit of that sweet and sour pad Thai flavor going on, but it was made with mung bean noodles, and the real kicker that really made it: lots of pickled garlic (kratiem dong).
In the stir fried noodles, there were also tofus, onions, green onions, dry shrimp, and an egg for good measure.
